About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Housekeeper at Kingston Dialysis Unit. This is an excellent opportunity to work with our clinical team to deliver a calm, clean, organized, and welcoming environment to our outpatients receiving their three times weekly dialysis treatments.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide cleaning services as part of a team to all clinical and non-clinical areas within the unit.
  • Support the team in ensuring stock is stored and maintained safely and efficiently.
  • Demonstrate compassion with patients, carers, staff, and visitors.

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust provides a range of medical services to approximately 490,000 people living across southwest London and northeast Surrey. We treat dialysis patients from Epsom and St Helier Trust and St Georges Hospital in Tooting.

Requirements
  • Numeracy and Literacy to level 2
  • NVQ Level 2 in housekeeping (desirable)
  • Experience in use of cleaning materials and equipment
  • Experience in general cleaning duties
  • Experience of working or volunteering in a healthcare environment
