About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Stroke Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Stroke Rehabilitation Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to patients with neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • To work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide a high-quality Stroke service within Warwickshire.
  • To provide administrative support to the department as required.
  • To develop and deliver therapy treatment programmes using guidelines set by qualified therapists.
  • To evaluate patient progress, reassess and alter treatment programmes if necessary following discussion with qualified therapists.
  • To maintain accurate documentation both written and electronic in accordance with professional, legal and Trust guidelines.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards.
  • GCSE (or equivalent) pass in English and Maths.
  • Previous experience of working in a healthcare setting AND/OR working with people with a variety of physical conditions AND/OR working as a therapy assistant.
  • Experience of working as part of a team.
