About the Role

Vaccination UK is seeking skilled professionals to join our team as part of our School Immunisation Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality vaccination services to schools across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver effective and evidence-based vaccination services to school-aged children
  • Work collaboratively with Programme Managers, Team Leads, and Clinical Leads to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Support the operation of our School Aged Immunisation Service, promoting and enhancing the health and wellbeing of our clients
  • Participate in clinical supervision and performance development of staff, ensuring high standards of care are maintained
  • Ensure all clinical incidents, near misses, and complaints are reported, monitored, and processed in line with organisational policies and procedures
  • Participate in audits, making recommendations based on findings and sharing outcomes with the team for learning

Person Specification

  • Essential
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • Working within PGD frameworks
  • Understanding of the Routine National Immunisation schedule
  • Understanding and implementation of the principles of informed consent
  • Computer literacy
  • Cold chain, ordering, and arranging transport
  • Qualifications
  • Paramedics registered with the HCPC or Pharmacists registered with the GPhC
