About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Event Waiter/Waitress to join our team at Luton Hoo Hotel & Spa. As an Event Waiter/Waitress, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring that their experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure function rooms are set up and well equipped to make both private and corporate events a resounding success.
  • Serving food & drinks to our guests in an outstanding and highly efficient manner.
  • Being knowledgeable about the food and drinks served.
  • Dealing with last minute requests.
  • Ensure function areas are kept tidy.
  • Excellent communication with the bar & kitchen teams to ensure service runs seamlessly.
Requirements
  • Providing high quality service and attention to detail comes naturally to you.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to remain calm whilst under pressure.
  • Feeling comfortable in a fast-paced, busy environment.
  • You value being part of a team and supporting your colleagues.
  • A smart and professional appearance.
  • Most of all, you have an approachable, positive, and proactive manner.
  • Experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel is a significant advantage.
