School Business Manager Job Description:
A primary school in Wandsworth is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Business Manager to lead on financial management, HR, and operations. The successful candidate will oversee the school's finances, budgeting, and reporting, manage HR functions, and lead on the management of resources.
School Business Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee the school's finances, budgeting, and reporting.
- Manage HR functions including staff recruitment, payroll, and compliance.
- Lead on the management of the school's resources, including facilities and IT.
- Ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered to across the school.
- Work closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to support strategic decisions.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
School Business Manager Requirements:
- Previous experience in school administration or as a business manager.
- Strong financial acumen and knowledge of school budgeting processes.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of HR procedures and school health & safety regulations.
- Ability to work in a small, close-knit team in a primary school setting.
