Job Opportunity: Consultant Peripheral Nerve and Spasticity Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Peripheral Nerve and Spasticity Surgeon to join our team at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have relevant skills and knowledge in peripheral nerve surgery and experience in brachial plexus and spasticity surgery. We offer a comprehensive range of hand surgery, with surgeons specializing in spasticity, peripheral nerve, and wrist pathologies. Our multidisciplinary approach includes collaboration with the hand therapy team and surgical colleagues within the department.

This is a substantive post, and we expect the post-holder to develop a related research portfolio. Support will be provided to enhance their research skills and endeavors. We also encourage applicants to explore opportunities for ongoing research associated with their area of interest.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Conduct elective hand surgery theatre lists twice weekly (5 DCC)
  • Attend elective hand surgery clinics twice weekly (2 DCC)
  • Participate in ad-hoc evening or weekend sessions as required to fulfill 10 PA per week commitment

The estimated annual salary for this role is £115,500.00.
