Job Title: Veterinary Nursing Team Lead
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Nursing Team Lead to join our dynamic team at British Veterinary Association. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, mentoring junior staff members, and ensuring the smooth operation of our veterinary clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care and develop treatment plans in collaboration with our veterinarians
- Mentor and educate junior staff members on animal handling, medication administration, and other nursing skills
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with our veterinary team to deliver excellent client service and maintain strong relationships with pet owners
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize workflow efficiency
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
- Demonstrated experience working in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry advancements
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary for this role is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your base salary, you will also receive:
