Job Description

Regional Head of Business Operations

Our client, a leading car dealership group, is seeking an experienced and cultured General Manager to lead and inspire a large team across multiple Used Car Dealerships in the south of England.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of circa 300 staff to deliver exceptional performance.
  • Unleash the potential of each site by setting stretching objectives and providing regular feedback on performance.
  • Ensure compliance with customer experience obligations and report site performance to the Sales Director and board of directors.
  • Pioneer new strategies and techniques to inspire the team and oversee the aftersales/service function on sites.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of driving results in a fast-paced, volume-based business within the Automotive Industry.
  • Strong used car background, ideally from a used car supermarket.
  • Ability to lead by example, manage, and inspire the team to deliver exceptional performance.
  • Strong customer focus, great computer literacy, and strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivation and experience of working with Aftersales/Service departments would be an added advantage.

Working Pattern:

A mix of weekends and weekdays, mainly long days of 4 or 5 days per week, rota dependent. The dealership is open until 10pm, and an extended in-house training period will be required initially.
