About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Specialist to join our team at WestRock. As a key member of our Controls Engineering group, you will be responsible for developing and implementing electrical design and controls solutions for our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical control systems for new and existing equipment
  • Develop and document software programs to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical design into manufacturing processes
  • Support the development of product legislation and product marking compliance
  • Provide technical input into Controls Process Documents, Test and Inspection processes, and drawings
  • Drive and promote Lean Manufacturing techniques to improve equipment integration and efficiency

Requirements:

  • PLC experience on multiple platforms
  • Robotics experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Effective Communication skills, influencing and persuasive skills
  • Understanding of electromechanical design for manufacture and assembly using CAD systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Programs
