About the Position

We are seeking a qualified Behaviour Support Worker to join our team at Vision for Education - Huddersfield. As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support to pupils with additional needs in a SEND school setting.

Your Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support to groups of children with additional needs, including ASD, PMLD, MLD, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
  • Ensuring the pupils' safety and well-being at all times and providing a supportive environment for them to learn and develop.
  • Working alongside teachers and other support staff to provide a comprehensive support package for pupils.

Requirements

  • You will have recent experience of working with children or young people, ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play, or care setting within the last 2 years.
  • You will hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
