Respiratory Medicine Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in an inpatient and outpatient setting. This will involve diagnosing and treating patients with respiratory conditions, as well as supervising junior medical staff and allied health professionals.
Key Duties- Provide expert respiratory care to patients, including diagnosis and treatment of respiratory conditions.
- Supervise and manage junior medical staff and allied health professionals to ensure high-quality care.
- Participate in clinical governance processes and continuing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory medicine practices.
- Complete mandatory training and undertake annual appraisal to maintain professional development.

The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 4 years of clinical experience.
- GMC registration with a license to practice.
- Experience in respiratory medicine, including thoracic ultrasound, pleural aspiration, and chest drain insertion.
- Ability to manage acute NIV.
