Key Responsibilities:

This exciting opportunity involves providing consultant-level input to and responsibility for the 16-bedded inpatients unit for the Norfolk West locality.

You will work closely with a Consultant Psychiatrist post and specialty doctor post to deliver high-quality patient care, conduct research initiatives, and contribute to staff development.

Working Environment:

The acute inpatient service is supported by a Consultant Psychiatrist post, specialty doctor post, regular foundation year doctors, core trainees, senior trainees, and medical students.

The whole inpatient service is also supported by a Lead Nurse, ensuring a comprehensive and collaborative approach to patient care.

Samphire Ward:

Samphire ward is a mixed-sex, sixteen-bed adult acute ward, providing an inclusive service for patients who meet admission criteria.

The ward features eight male beds and eight female beds, with the ability to adjust rooms to accommodate patients' needs.
