Job Title: Asset Analyst

SSI Services Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Asset Analyst to join our team in Fulbourn, Cambridge. As a leading water company, we provide a constant supply of drinking water and are looking for an expert to help us plan our water resources supplies for the next 25 years and beyond.

The Role:

We are looking for a talented individual to assist and provide support in all aspects of preparing and monitoring our Water Resources Management Plans across both our South Staffs region and Cambridge region. The successful candidate will support investments to maintain water supplies and assist in determining the components of our plans for supply and demand scenarios.

  • Collect, analyse, and report data to support technical documentation for statutory plans using industry-standard methods for forecasting and planning.
  • Model data to support water resource management plans.
  • Support drought planning and water resources updates.
  • Monitor and forecast water abstractions, discharges, and water resources assets.
  • Undertake research, critique, adapt, and develop new techniques for water resources management.
  • Manipulate and analyse data using spreadsheets and analytical tools.
Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with a full, valid driving licence as some travel will be required. The ideal candidate will have some experience in water resources management, water supply and treatment, hydrogeology, or the water industry. Knowledge of UK Water Resources Planning, Environment Agency methods, and environmental impact assessment is desirable.
