Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee accurate calculation and administration of service charges, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  2. Monitor service charge budgets and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
  3. Address and resolve service charge queries and disputes in a timely and professional manner.
  4. Manage leasehold properties within retirement living schemes, ensuring compliance with lease terms and health and safety standards.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service and support to residents in retirement living schemes, promoting positive relationships within the estate community.
  6. Conduct regular estate inspections to identify areas for improvement or repair, and liaise with contractors or maintenance teams as necessary.
  7. Maintain accurate records of interactions with leaseholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  8. Engage with residents and promote positive relationships within the estate community, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience as a Leasehold Officer or in a similar role within housing or property management, with a strong understanding of leasehold management principles.
  2. Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate, demonstrating a commitment to safeguarding and protecting vulnerable individuals.
  3. Experience in conducting estate inspections and identifying areas for improvement or repair, with a focus on health and safety standards.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, colleagues, and contractors.
