Safeguarding and Sexual Health Expert

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including sexual health, mental health, and safeguarding needs.
- Provide expert advice to colleagues and patients via telephone.
- Document injuries using camera systems.
- Share information with relevant parties, ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Develop individual management plans to support patients' ongoing care.
- Support the continuous quality improvement of our service.
- Participate in forensic examinations and obtain forensic exhibits as required.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified Registered Nurse, Midwife, or Paramedic.
- NMC pin, RGN.
- A minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in acute medical healthcare.
- Proven experience working with vulnerable adults and children.
- Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children and adults.
- A full UK driving license.
