About the Role:

NewDay Ltd is seeking an experienced Head of Engineering to lead our engineering team and drive the development of our digital credit engine. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for managing the team, engineering delivery, and evolving our engineering culture and practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage teams within set engineering frameworks, constantly pushing for performance improvements.
  • Embed a culture laser-focused on delivery and quality, driving urgency, control, and alignment with business goals.
  • Forge strong partnerships across the organization, aligning engineering goals with key areas like security and cost management.
  • Experience leading engineering teams, with a knack for developing management talent.
  • A strong engineering background, ideally in C# with good understanding of API integration of products.
  • Deep experience in Agile/Scrum/DevOps environments.
  • Experience with microservice architectures, event-driven systems, and multi-tenancy data patterns.
  • A strong grasp of technology operations, especially DevOps.
