About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Engineering and Technical Leadership to join our team at Motorway Online Ltd. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring our engineering team to drive innovation and excellence in our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical vision and direction to the engineering team, ensuring that our products and services meet the highest standards of quality, scalability, and reliability.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of engineering managers and engineers, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop in their careers.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team, encouraging experimentation and learning from failure.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and operations, to ensure that our products and services meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for the engineering team, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience as a technical leader, with a strong track record of delivering complex technical projects and leading high-performing teams.
  • Skills: Excellent technical skills, with expertise in software development, architecture, and engineering. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
