As a Media Relations Executive at Thames Water Utilities Limited, you will play a critical role in promoting our reputation to external audiences. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day media enquiries, working on proactive projects and campaigns to enhance our reputation, and providing media advice to stakeholders and business areas within the company.

About the Role:
  • You will be part of a dynamic team that works closely together to achieve our goals.
  • You will be required to identify, escalate and mitigate emerging risks as appropriate to protect our reputation and interests.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day media enquiries and work on proactive projects, research and campaigns to enhance our reputation.
  • Act as a source of professional expertise providing media advice to stakeholders and business areas within the company.
  • Identify, escalate and mitigate emerging risks as appropriate to protect our reputation and interests.
Requirements:
  • Proven record of media handling and campaign planning.
  • A good understanding of Media Relations, preferably with experience working in a highly regulated sector.
  • Good media connections are advantageous but not essential.
Salary and Benefits:
  • Competitive salary: £42,500 - £62,500 per annum depending on experience.
  • Annual Leave: 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with length of service.
