About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Deputy Manager to join our team at SeeAbility. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Registered Manager and deputising for them in their absence. You will lead your team to provide exceptional, person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and/or visual impairment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of the service
  • Deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence
  • Lead your team to provide person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and/or visual impairment
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals we support
  • Develop and implement professionally designed support plans that promote independence and choice
  • Act as a role model and mentor to the team, facilitating collaborative working and sound judgment
  • Manage staff performance, training, and appraisals to ensure the team is equipped and motivated to deliver exceptional support
Requirements
  • Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care or working towards it
  • Experience of working with people who have learning disabilities, autism, and/or visual impairment
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends on a rota basis
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate the team
