Social Compliance Specialist

A crucial part of our Company is represented by our Global Buying Offices, where resident buyers and sourcers purchase goods locally and scout regional markets looking for exciting products for our stores.
Our Global Buying Offices in Europe are present in Italy, UK, Portugal and we have Associates also in Poland and the Netherlands.
Job SummaryThe Social Compliance Specialist collaborates with internal and external partners to ensure TJX mitigates business risks through its social compliance factory monitoring program. The Specialist communicates program requirements and expectations to associates, buying agents and vendors. The role supports the audit process for third-party audits, visits vendors regularly to assess potential risks, and partners with vendors and suppliers to help remediate violations and develop solutions for key areas of risk.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate risk and make recommendations based on balancing of interests between needs of Company and suppliers.
- Understand the off-price business model, as well as the importance of protecting the company from reputational risk.
- Educate associates, agents and vendors on program requirements and expectations.
- Support the audit process to ensure required timelines are met.
- Partner with third parties on the development of solutions for suppliers on key areas of risk.
- Collaborate with GBO Social Compliance Specialists, HO Social Compliance Team.
- Support Buyers, Sourcers and Logistics on Social Compliance related issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills, strong written/verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
