Foster Carers play a vital part in shaping the lives of children and young people, providing a stable and nurturing environment for them to grow and thrive. Located across the West and East Midlands, we are seeking individuals and families to become foster carers.
Key Responsibilities- Providing full-time care to children in their own home, including short- or long-term placements
- Fulfilling care plans in conjunction with a wider team of professionals
- Transporting children to nursery or school, and building relationships with teachers and key staff
- A spare bedroom in your home
- You must be over 21 years old
- An ability to drive or access to good public transport links
- A commitment to training and professional development
- Competitive fostering allowances (£30,000 - £40,000 per annum)
- Your own experienced social worker for regular support and supervision
- A comprehensive training package with face-to-face and online learning opportunities
- Regular social events with other foster carers and their families
- National Trust or English Heritage membership
