Junior Performance Analyst

Mason Blake is seeking a talented Junior Performance Analyst to join their high-performing team on a permanent basis. As a key member of the investment management team, you will be responsible for analyzing performance and attribution, calculating GIPS composites, and producing performance reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain performance systems and data to enhance the performance reporting process
  • Lead ad hoc data-centric projects to improve efficiency within the Performance team
  • Write commentaries to explain fund performance and develop performance data
  • Enhance the current performance reporting process using advanced Excel, VBA, and/or SQL
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years' experience working as a Performance Analyst or Data Analyst within an investment management house
  • Experience of report production within investment operations
  • Knowledge of all main asset classes
  • Natural problem-solving skills and a numerate degree
  • IMC or IOC certification (or working towards completion)
