Key Responsibilities- Provide person-centered care and support to service users, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Contribute to the effective provision of an integrated, inclusive, and quality service, designed to meet the care, social, and educational needs of service users.
- Monitor and maintain health, safety, and security in the working environment, including medication administration.
- Support service users with their physical care needs, including toileting, and ensure their physical environment is clean and comfortable.
- Contribute to the protection of service users from abuse, including the identification of possible abuse, and handle disclosures from service users according to policies and procedures.
- Experience of working in a residential care setting, with a focus on night support.
- Ability to communicate effectively with service users, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of UK procedures in support work, including dementia awareness and manual handling training.
- SCQF Level 6 (equivalent SVQ2) in Social Services and Healthcare, or willingness to undertake this qualification.
