Care Assistant (Bank) - Care and Support

At Care Concern Group, we're committed to delivering exceptional care services to our residents. As a Care Assistant (Bank), you'll play a vital role in our close-knit care team, ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Empower residents to maintain their independence by assisting with daily routines and promoting positive choices.
  • Deliver personalized care by following and supporting each resident's care plan, providing hands-on help and thoughtful attention to their individual needs.
  • Monitor residents' health and wellbeing, communicating any concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager, and helping with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
  • Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident, ensuring they feel valued and cared for in every interaction.
  • Encourage social interactions among residents and with staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces, responding quickly to emergencies or call bells.
  • Assist residents who need extra help with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
  • Bring joy to our residents' lives and make them smile every day.

About You:

  • Qualifications: SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred.
  • Experience: Ideally, you have at least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant, but we welcome those with a passion for care and transferable skills.
  • Passion: You're genuinely interested in caring for the elderly and committed to delivering excellent service.
  • Values: You bring integrity, respect, and a strong sense of teamwork to everything you do.
