Job Summary

This Consultant in Otolaryngology position is available on either a substantive or fixed-term basis for 12 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert medical care to patients with ear, nose, and throat conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Professional supervision and management of junior medical staff, ensuring adherence to local employment policies and procedures.
  • Teaching, examination, and accreditation duties as required, contributing to undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing medical education activity.
  • Out-of-hours responsibilities, including participation in the consultant on-call rota.
  • Managerial responsibilities, including budgetary compliance and adherence to standing orders and financial instructions.
About the Role
