Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Partner to join our Supply Operations team at Howdens Joinery Co. As a key member of the manufacturing finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial support and guidance to Site Management, Operations Managers, and Maintenance and Engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and highlight budget risks and opportunities to Site Management and Operations Managers.
  • Manage the manufacturing cost centers, ensuring accurate period-end journals and providing timely, user-friendly reporting and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Develop and maintain product costing, including cost estimates and standard product costs within SAP.
  • Provide training to ensure financial awareness on the manufacturing sites.
  • Participate in project work to support business decisions, engaging with stakeholders across the manufacturing function.

Requirements:

  • ACCA/CIMA qualified (or actively studying)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver narrative and communicate with finance and non-finance colleagues.
  • Strong Excel and IT skills
