Fire Risk Assessment Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced Fire Risk Assessment Specialist to join our team at Michael Page. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire risk assessment and a proven track record of delivering high-quality assessments in domestic housing and properties where housing has responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct fire risk assessments in domestic housing, care and support schemes, and properties where housing has responsibility.
  2. Liaise with the Fire Risk Assessment Manager and Senior Fire Risk Assessor to ensure assessments are delivered in line with the Fire Safety Management System.
  3. Manage and coordinate contractors required to support destructive inspections as part of the type 4 fire risk assessment process.
  4. Evaluate the quality of making good of intrusive surveys to ensure compliance with fire safety standards.
  5. Develop and provide concise and detailed fire risk assessments for all type 1, 3, and 4 assessments.

Requirements

  1. NEBOSH Fire Certificate/Diploma or Certified in Applied Fire Risk Assessment (previously FRA and Fire Safety Management) or equivalent qualification.
  2. Experience of working as a fire risk assessor in residential housing and care and support schemes, with evidence of applying PAS 79.
