Housing Enforcement Standards Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Private Sector Housing team as a Housing Enforcement Standards Manager. This role is responsible for leading the delivery of housing enforcement standards to ensure private sector residential accommodation throughout the District meets statutory standards.

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of Housing legislation
  • Experience of using formal action where necessary, including attending court
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Key Performance Indicators

  • Regular inspections of HMOs
  • Successful prosecution of landlords who fail to meet statutory standards
  • Improved standards of management for residents

Work Environment

This role will be based at our Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks Kent TN13 1HG. We operate a hybrid working model for the majority of our roles, where your working time will be divided between the office and home working.

Compensation Package

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £38,912 - £42,107 per annum, plus a range of benefits including hybrid working arrangements.
