Job Summary

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Development Management Team Leader. As a key member of our planning team, you will play a critical role in leading the evaluation and processing of major development proposals, ensuring that our city's growth and development align with our strategic vision.

We are looking for a talented individual who can demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of planning policies and procedures, and a passion for delivering high-quality results. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of professional planners in the management and delivery of development proposals;
  • Managing the evaluation and processing of major development proposals within agreed performance targets;
  • Collaborating with managers across the planning service to deliver effective performance management;
  • Providing expert advice on planning procedures and regulations;

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including a generous pension scheme and annual leave entitlement.
