We are seeking a skilled and organized Front Office Administrator to join our team at The Blundellsands Surgery.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our front office team, ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. This includes managing appointments, responding to patient queries, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate patient records, including updating demographics and medical history
- Respond to patient queries via phone, email, or in-person, providing timely and courteous service
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, ensuring efficient use of staff time and resources
- Process and manage repeat prescriptions, sending notifications to patients as required
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills
