At Carbon60, we are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Expert to join our team in Stevenage. As a key member of our EHS department, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective EHS strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with health and safety.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with EHS procedures and regulations.
  • Investigate and report all incidents, accidents, and near misses, ensuring timely action is taken to prevent future occurrences.
  • Provide training and support to colleagues on EHS policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, with relevant qualifications and certifications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A proven track record of implementing effective EHS strategies and procedures is also required.

This is a full-time position based in Stevenage, with occasional travel to other sites (Cambridge and Harlow). We offer a competitive salary range of £45k - £52k per annum, plus benefits including 25 days holiday + BH, Company Pension, and Flex Benefits.
