We are seeking a skilled Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team in NW London for a 6-month period. This position offers an immediate start and involves covering some duties typically assigned to a Head Nurse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine nursing duties, take on responsibilities usually handled by the Head Nurse, including staff supervision and clinic management tasks.
  • Assist with surgeries, provide patient care, and conduct post-operative checks, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
  • Administer treatments and medications as prescribed by the veterinarian.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of medical supplies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing education and support on pet health care and post-treatment care.
  • Support the veterinary team in ensuring the smooth running of the practice.

Salary:

£30-40 per hour (competitive rate commensurate with experience).

Estimated Annual Salary:£60,000-80,000
