Established Veterinary Team Seeks Experienced Leader
About Us:
Goddard Veterinary Group is a leading provider of veterinary services, with a rich history spanning over 70 years. Our group comprises 46 branches, 3 hospitals, and our own nurse training college.
We are committed to delivering the highest standards of patient care, and we take pride in our talented team of certificate holders and specialists. Our hospital provides an excellent first opinion, emergency, critical care, and referral service to our clients and local network of 20 branches.
Salary and Benefits:
This full-time position comes with a competitive salary range of £39,000 to £43,500, depending on experience, allowing for growth within the role. You will also enjoy a weekend rotation, approximately 1:7 manager on-call weekends, and 6 weeks annual leave including bank holidays.

About the Role:
This key position plays an integral part in delivering operational excellence, outstanding patient care, and invaluable support to our large team of highly skilled nurses. As a leader, you will motivate and inspire a large team of RVNs, students, and nursing assistants, including a deputy head nurse and senior nursing team.
Your duties will include managing new colleague inductions, performing regular reviews, managing the on-the-day rota, scheduling team meetings, overseeing lab equipment maintenance, diary management, and assisting in clinical duties on the hospital floor.
You will have up to 3 admin days per week to conduct one-to-one meetings with colleagues and catch up on day-to-day administrative tasks. Wanstead Veterinary Hospital sees an incredibly diverse caseload, no day is the same, it's a great environment to work alongside our talented team.
