Job Title: CH47 Mechanical Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our team at Boeing Defence UK. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of aircraft technicians in the maintenance, modification, and repair of aircraft and aircraft components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, disassemble, and/or modify systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
- Oversee and complete assembly, disassembly, or overhaul.
- Configure aerospace vehicles and test equipment.
- Troubleshoot complex aircraft systems to isolate and repair faulty components within guidelines published in authorized maintenance documents.
- Perform testing of systems and components.
- Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
- Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
- Proficient computer skills, use of the Microsoft Office suite.
- A high level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Requirements:
- Ideal experience working on Military Aircraft and familiar with Boeing specifications and drawings.
- Experience supervising a team of aircraft technicians.
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral).
- Experience with working with limited supervision.
- Good organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.

Security Clearance:
This position requires the ability to obtain a UK security clearance (SC) for which UK residency is required. All information will be checked and verified.
Relocation:
This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Work Authorisation:
This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Boeing will not attempt to obtain Immigration and labour sponsorship for any applicants. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
