About the Role

The Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join its team in Middle Wallop. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of aircraft technicians in the maintenance, modification, and repair of aircraft and their components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble, disassemble, and/or modify systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
  • Oversee or complete assembly, disassembly, or overhaul.
  • Configure aerospace vehicles and test equipment.
  • Troubleshoot complex aircraft systems to isolate and repair faulty components within guidelines published in authorized maintenance documents.
  • Perform testing of systems and components.
  • Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
  • Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
  • Proficient computer skills, use of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • A high level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Requirements

  • Ideal candidates will have extensive experience working on Military Aircraft and be familiar with Boeing specifications and drawings.
  • Have experience supervising a team of aircraft technicians.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Experience with working with limited supervision.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
