Job Summary:

IC Resources is seeking an experienced Principal RF Engineer to lead the design and development of high-performance RF Power Amplifiers for use in 5G, satellite communications, and aerospace/defense applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead RF design projects from simulation to tapeout, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Design and layout RF Power Amplifiers, focusing on GaN on SiC technology, and conduct thorough analysis to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product releases and meet customer requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in RF design, simulation tools, and GaN technology.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in RF design, with a strong focus on MMIC design and GaN technology.
  • Expertise in RF design software (e.g., Keysight ADS, Cadence AWR) and proficiency in simulation tools.
  • Strong knowledge of RF testing, stability criteria, and thermal effects on design.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
