Job Overview

Become a key member of our team as a Senior Building Management System Engineer.

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the delivery of BEMS projects in London.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the project delivery team to ensure successful project completion.
  • Lead commissioning engineers and software teams to deliver high-quality BEMS systems.
  • Read and understand BMS scope and its interaction with M&E specifications.
  • Raise technical queries and RFIs to ensure clarity on project requirements.
  • Attend project design meetings to contribute to the development of BEMS systems.
  • Produce Schedule of Deliverables, Interface Matrix, Network Architecture Drawings, Functional Design Specifications, Points Schedules, Technical submittals, and RFI's using standard documents.
  • Issue design information to panel manufacturers and review panel wiring diagrams for accuracy.
  • Create a project interface matrix to manage interactions with other packages.
  • Oversee and manage production of BEMS software and graphics.
  • Assist in commissioning and point-to-point testing of Commission Control Panels (CP).
  • Manage the commissioning of the BEMS system and its interaction with M&E systems, including Mechanical, Air, Hydraulic, Electrical, Energy Monitoring and Metering, Lighting, Fire, Security, and Smart technologies.
  • Ensure project handover documentation is managed and ready at handover.
  • Ensure handover of fully operational BEMS Systems.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Liaise with Operations Manager, Project Engineers, other staff, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Adhere to all company policies & procedures, particularly health & safety.
Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in Building Management Systems experience.
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualifications or equivalent.
  • Experience with Tridium or other BMS systems (Trend, Cylon, Schneider, Distech, Delta, etc.).
  • A proven track record of delivering BEMS systems.
  • Exceptional technical knowledge of BEMS.
  • Experience with BACNET and/or Modbus.
  • The ability to understand and adapt system software and graphics.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A valid CSCS or ECS site card.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £75,000 depending on experience, plus car allowance circa £6,000.
