About the Job

We are seeking a friendly and confident individual to join our team as a Personal Assistant for Independent Living. As a Personal Assistant, you will provide support and encouragement to our client, enabling them to live independently and pursue their hobbies and interests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and encouragement to our client, enabling them to live independently and pursue their hobbies and interests.
  • Accompany our client on social activities, such as swimming, gym sessions, and meals out.
  • Remind and prompt our client to perform daily tasks, such as taking medication and locking doors.
  • Assist our client with epilepsy management, including administering medication and providing first aid if necessary.
  • Respect our client's independence and allow them to make their own decisions.
  • Participate in activities with our client, such as swimming and gym sessions.
  • Communicate with our client's parents and doctors as needed.
Requirements
  • A friendly and confident personality.
  • Experience of epilepsy or first aid training is an advantage.
  • A car driver/owner who is willing to use their own car to take our client places.
  • Someone who is trustworthy and respects the privacy and confidentiality of working in someone else's home.
Working Hours

4 hours per week, available on Wednesdays from 11am to 3pm, with some flexibility.

Rate of Pay

£11.44 per hour, plus 0.40p per mile for mileage.
