Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and confident Personal Assistant to support one of our clients, a young man with Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy, in his daily life. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the client with accessing public transport, personal care, and participating in social activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the client in accessing public transport, including buses and trains.
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Accompany the client to social events, such as going to the pub, watching football, and visiting Barry Island arcades.
  • Drive the client's van on occasion.
  • Work on bus routes from the client's home to support his independence.

Requirements

  • Confidence in using public transport and holding a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliability and commitment to supporting the client's needs.
  • Male applicant due to the personal care involved.

Working Hours

3 hours per week, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed.

Rate of Pay

£15.00 per hour.
