We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn Birmingham Airport. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes, and providing exceptional customer service.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. You will be the face of our hotel, interacting with guests, answering queries, and providing information about our hotel and local amenities. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in ensuring the smooth running of the reception office and related areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to queries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure seamless check-in and check-out processes, handling guest arrivals and departures efficiently.
  • Be fully conversant in all hotel and local amenities, providing guests with information and recommendations to enhance their stay.
  • Work collaboratively with other Front of House departments to ensure the smooth running of each area.
  • Build quality working relationships with guests, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:

We are looking for a Receptionist who is a strong communicator, has good attention to detail, and is able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Experience using Opera would be beneficial, but not essential. A knowledge of the local neighbourhood is also important, as you will need to share this knowledge with guests to provide thoughtful recommendations.
