Construction Planning Assistant

About Our Programme:
We're committed to developing the next generation of construction professionals at Galliford Try. Our award-winning Trainee Programme is designed to provide hands-on experience, technical skills, and academic qualifications. As an Apprentice Planner, you'll work on live projects, assisting with construction planning, logistics, and sequencing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain an understanding of project management, logistics, and sequencing
- Assist with providing construction planning support to live projects
- Update trackers and introduce new software, where appropriate
- Manage enquiries for temporary services, fencing, security, and other project requirements
- Interpret programmes and create phasing drawings, including logistics, constraints, plant, and access
- Visit sites to assess conditions and constraints for tender programmes and method statements
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to establish optimum, compliant programmes
- Collate and assist in the production of As-Built records
- Develop an understanding of Preliminaries Assessment
- Become familiar with the Galliford Try BMS and Information Management systems
