Maintenance Operations Coordinator

The Maintenance Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the reactive repair requirements of our clients' properties. This position is ideal for an individual with leadership qualities and experience in a busy helpdesk/call centre environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as the first point of contact for our clients, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Log all reported issues onto our in-house Fix Flo system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Manage both reactive and planned works through to completion, ensuring they meet our set KPIs and are delivered to a satisfactory standard.
- Liaise with contractors/suppliers and in-house handymen to ensure completion of all reported issues, chasing them where necessary to meet our KPIs.
- Work with the finance team to ensure accurate matching between issue references and purchase orders.
- Assist in the management of awarded project works from instruction to practical completion.
- Escalate complaints to the appropriate manager, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly reports and statistics, providing valuable insights to the housing association and landlord requirements.
- Leadership qualities and experience in a busy helpdesk/call centre environment.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to respond to client queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Knowledge of property services/facilities management is preferred but not essential.
- Any trades experience is a bonus.
