Service Transformation

The Eating Disorder Services Manager will have overall operational management responsibility for the defined service function within the Specialist Care Group. This includes effective service line management, operational delivery, workforce, quality and safety.

This role is responsible for ensuring appropriate governance is in place for their service and will be responsible for ensuring services are transformed in line with national and local priorities. The manager will also ensure that services meet contractual and internal performance requirements.

Main Duties

  • Responsible for the effective service line management of the eating disorder facilities.
  • Ensuring services are delivered safely and effectively, working in partnership with professional and clinical leads.
  • Managing budgets to ensure services are delivered within budget.
  • Ensuring services meet key performance indicators and contractual requirements.
  • Ensuring appropriate staffing levels and competencies within the eating disorder service.

Person Specification

  • Masters Degree or demonstrate equivalent level of professional experience/knowledge.
  • Holder of a management/leadership qualification.
  • Experience of operationally managing and leading several clinical services.
