Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programme Manager to join our team at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital. As a Programme Manager, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of our healthcare innovation programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage diverse evaluation programmes to assess the impact and effectiveness of our healthcare innovations.
  • Work closely with the Head of Programmes to manage a portfolio of evaluation projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Design and lead mixed-method evaluation projects, including quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify programme needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on evaluation methodologies and techniques.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clinicians, patients, and external partners.
  • Contribute to the development of our organisation's strategic plan and business plan.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as healthcare, public health, or social sciences.
  • Proven experience in programme management, evaluation, and research.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and partnership working.
  • Knowledge of healthcare innovation, evaluation methodologies, and research techniques.
