Data Scientist for Operations Strategy

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our Operations Strategy team at ECF Data, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will help us drive strategic improvements in our service delivery by leveraging data-driven insights.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented statistician to join our UK and Germany Operations teams. You will work closely with business stakeholders and operations staff to align your work with business goals and achieve valuable commercial outcomes.

You will be responsible for building deep expertise in operations processes across the full range of the customer journey, from signup through to collections. This includes setting up, monitoring, and analysing split tests to understand the value of operations activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build predictive models based on customer satisfaction data to determine whether changes made to operations' processes genuinely improve customer satisfaction.
  • Develop statistical models to enhance the ability of operations teams to do accurate forecasting and capacity planning.
  • Work closely with operations staff and business stakeholders to ensure that your work aligns closely with business goals and achieves valuable commercial outcomes.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in statistics and probability, likely from a numerate background such as engineering, mathematics, or physics.
  • Proficiency with data manipulation and modelling tools, such as pandas, statsmodels, or R.
  • Experience with scientific computing and tooling, including p>.
  • The ability to work autonomously and efficiently manage projects end-to-end.
Bonus Requirements

If you have demonstrable experience using machine learning techniques, this would be a significant advantage.
