Exciting Opportunity for a Team Manager

Cheshire West and Chester Council is seeking a highly motivated and reflective professional to lead the Supporting Independence Team (formerly Leaving Care Team). As a Team Manager, you will provide leadership and direction to the team, working collaboratively to support young people and their families in the care of the Local Authority.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Social Workers and/or Personal Advisors to provide high-quality pathway planning for young people transitioning into adulthood.
  • Work closely with the Permanence Hub to demonstrate commitment to leading a team and supporting young people and their families.
  • Develop and implement trauma-informed practice and motivational interview training to ensure the highest quality of care and planning for young people.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet ongoing challenges and contribute to a motivated and dynamic organisation.
