About the Role

A unique opportunity has arisen for a full-time, fixed-term Academic Support Administrator within Northumbria University's Student, Library and Academic Services (SLAS) Department. The successful candidate will provide administrative support relating to a range of degree programmes and courses, working closely with academic and professional support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Academic Support Team, aligned to the Faculty of Arts, Design and Social Sciences (ADSS)
  • Support enrolled students and academic staff, both digitally and in-person
  • Develop effective working relationships with academic and professional support staff
  • Contribute to the provision of professional expertise for designated areas of activity

About the Team

The team is based in the Lipman Building on City Campus, with a blended approach to flexible working. While there is flexibility to work from home, this role requires the majority of weekly attendance on campus in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
