Support Coordinator Opportunity

Creative Support is a non-profit provider of personalized care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism spectrum conditions, and older people.

We are seeking a Support Coordinator to join our Mental Health Youth Service in Eastgarth, working with individuals who require support with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centred support to service users to participate in daily life and achieve their outcomes and goals.
  • Utilize positive communication and engagement skills to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for service users.
  • Work within a positive behaviour support framework to accept responsibility and grow in confidence as a skilled practitioner supporting vulnerable individuals.
  • Collaborate with service users, families, and professionals to provide a consistent and coordinated service that meets the needs of service users.
  • Support and supervise staff, deploying resources effectively to meet the needs of the service.

Experience working with individuals with mental health needs is essential for this role. Managerial experience is desirable but not essential.

As a Support Coordinator, you will be expected to work flexibly on a rota to meet the needs of the service, including evenings, nights, weekends, sleep-ins, and bank holidays.
