About the Role

Creative Support is a non-profit provider of personalized care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism spectrum conditions, and older people. We are seeking a Support Coordinator for our Mental Health Youth Service in Eastgarth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred support to tenants to participate in all aspects of daily life and achieve their outcomes and goals.
  • Utilize positive communication and engagement skills to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the people we support.
  • Work within a positive behaviour support framework to accept responsibility and grow in confidence as a skilled practitioner supporting individuals who are vulnerable and may engage in risky behaviours.
  • Collaborate with service users, families, and involved professionals to provide a consistent and coordinated service that meets the needs of service users.
  • Support and supervise staff, deploying resources effectively to meet the needs of the service.
Requirements

Experience working with individuals with mental health needs is essential for this role. Managerial experience is desirable but not essential.

You will be expected to work flexibly on a rota to meet the needs of the service, including evenings and nights, weekends, sleep-ins, and bank holidays.
