About the Role

This exciting opportunity has arisen for an MSK Healthcare Specialist to join our team in Tewkesbury. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality Musculoskeletal services across all business service channels.

Job Description

The successful candidate will support the delivery of MSK services by undertaking holistic multidisciplinary assessments to consider clinical, personal, and occupational or social risk factors. You will provide expert advice and recommendations to address presenting problems and solutions to underlying issues where necessary.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • To deliver MSK induction training to new starters and develop their knowledge of clinical pathways and non-clinical pathways.
  • To use skill sets combined with evidence and data to identify areas of MSK development across all business service channels.
  • To work closely with Health Care Plan to deliver clinical scrutiny for MSK intervention and monitor incoming referrals through MSK dashboards.
  • To maintain knowledge of the Functional Restoration Program (NHS) and work with the MSK team to develop the service and identify areas of improvement.
  • To attend regular MSK team huddles and contribute to service development discussions.
Requirements

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, who can demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of their MSK specialism and a broader general knowledge of multidisciplinary assessments. The ideal candidate will have experience of using CRM systems and Microsoft Office effectively.

A Physiotherapy BSc (Hons) degree and membership of the appropriate governing body are essential requirements. Additionally, you should be able to write clear and accurate English and understand the impact of work on an individual and the impact of ill health and an individual's ability to work.
